Chiang Mai Nature trek

2 days 1night trek at Mae Taeng

   Chiang Mai is the second-largest province of Thailand. It is in the northern part of the country. It   is bordered by  Chiang Rai  to the northeast, Lampang  and Lamphun   to the south and Mae Hong  Son  to the  west. It  is considered one of  the most scenic province in the  country  due to its mountain ranges, flower  and  animal. We have the famous trekking and real natural areas to offer, located in Northern Thailand, Mae Taeng, in the district of Chiang Mai.

   Mae Taeng District, one of the attractive area, is located in northern part of Chiangmai, which is most surrounded by beautiful mountains with 80% of whole areas. It is also the start of riverhead where animals and people can gratefully make use in daily life. There are also people from various Tribes e.g.Karen, Lahu,Aka who maintain their original homes, culture, ritual, tradition and living in this area.

 Day 1

    Depart from Chiangmai  at 08:30am, drive on the highway  for about 40 minutes towards Mae Rim district until we reach the  Orchid and Butterfly Farm where we can enjoy sight-seeing.  Continueing on the route, we will stop  at the local market (Mae Malai Market) to visit and buy ingredients  for our food preparation during  trekking. Then, we will drive to Akha Hill Tribe Village where we have lunch (including privacy time for 20 minutes). After lunch break, drive for another  15 minutes until we reach the starting point of  the trip.

    The trip will begin with the trekkers walking through the woods for approximately 3 hours to Labu Village where they will visit and stay overnight in order to learn the village’s way of living (including jungle  cooking .)At night Trekkers will get to watch  hill tribe show.

 Day 2

    After breakfast, we will meet up with the villagers and their elephants to make friends, go for rides and bathe them. Next on the agenda (depending on weather conditions), is rafting down the Mae Tang River for about 2-3hours  to Baan Sop Gai Village where we will stop for lunch. Finally, we will return to Chiangmai and arrive around 4:00pm.
